SIX STEPS TO SUCCESS

BII
the Publican

At Trust Inns we are always looking for motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious business minded people to develop our pubs. To be considered you do not necessarily need to have pub experience, just bags of initiative and a desire to succeed.

If you have found a suitable pub on our current list of vacancies or simply want to register your interest in running your own pub business should a pub become available in your desired area, simply follow our quick and easy procedure to as set out below!

Tell us about yourself

So that we can build a picture of you and what type of pub opportunity you are looking for, please complete our no obligation, online Introduction Form It's quick and easy to complete and shouldn't take more than a few minutes of your time.

Explore your options

Shortly after receiving your Introduction Form, the Business Development Manager for the area you have expressed an interest in will give you a call to chat through your requirements. We'll arrange for you to be sent details of the pubs in which you have expressed an interest and can arrange a visit if necessary for you to have a closer look.

Tell us about your plans

Once you have chosen your ideal pub from our selection of opportunities, you will be required to compile a Business Plan and Profit & Loss account (and cashflow forecast).

Meet with us

A further meeting will follow, which may be at your own home. Our Business Development Manager will discuss your Business Plan in detail and explain to you the basic information about the pub in question by reference to a checklist (please see section 10 of our Code of Practice) which will act as a record of the meeting. We will then arrange a final letting interview with an Operations Director for you to raise any outstanding points and for him to clarify the key points in the Agreement.

The Offer

If we progress to grant you a tenancy or lease, an offer will be made to you in writing and, once accepted, we will agree a suitable date for completion and your takeover of the property. The pub business is then yours and that’s when our support for you and your pub business starts in earnest.
