100 Christmas Pub Quiz Questions with Answers 2023
Being a pub Landlord carries a lot of responsibility and can be a demanding role at times. Calculating wages, ordering stock, taking deliveries and cleaning the lines all take time, and that’s before you’ve even pulled a pint. That’s why we’ve devised this helpful calendar of dates for you to print off and keep safe as a point of reference.
This list is full of key dates to help you keep ahead of the game. For example, we know that you know that Valentine’s Day is always the 14th February, but when is Easter this year? What about Mother’s Day? Are you going to show all two weeks of Wimbledon?
We know it can get confusing! But don’t worry about it. Make it easier on yourself and have a look over the key dates of 2019. Also, be sure to make yourself aware of any local events and festivals, annual traditions such as Field Days or Fetes and capitalise upon them. Make your pub warm, welcoming and provide what the locals want. For instance, if you haven’t experienced a full year in your pub yet, and the locals keep talking about a Parade Day or event, try to be prepared, get involved and show some enthusiasm. Asking your customers and the local community will benefit you and your pub in the long run.
Feel free to add your own dates and ideas to this list, book bands and singers to coincide with events or even use it to calculate what staff you may need if you anticipate busy times. Why not hold a Eurovision party or plan a pub BBQ to coincide with the FA Cup Final?
