The Black Horse is a beautifully situated country pub on the edge of Rivington. Located on the main route from Eaves Lane, East Chorley to Heath Charnock and Rivington. Surrounded by stunning countryside, the pub is situated in a prime road side location.

The pub is reputed to be the second oldest working tavern in the UK and holds one of the oldest unbroken drinks licence in the country. Oozing country and rustic charm with its low ceilings and open fires, inside the pub there are four separate dining rooms as well as a large beer garden with tables overlooking the river.
