Cow & Telescope, Southend on Sea, Essex
The Cow & Telescope has always been a fantastic, big, old pub but when Trust Inns undertook a refurbishment inside and out it has been transformed into a beautiful big old pub!
This project happened at the end of 2019 and included full external and internal refurbishment. Whilst the pub is still recognisable it is no longer dark and old fashioned, but bright with big open spaces, a great new bar and some funky new wallpaper!
New seating areas have been created to allow for customers to sit and chat in warmth and comfort and the pool table area allows for teams to congregate and socialise whilst watching a game.
The outside trading area has been given a facelift too and what was once a tired, unloved area has become a great hit with customers in the summer, offering plenty of space and seating to enjoy a drink in the sunshine.
